The head of Hamedan justice also said that the decision of cutting off hands, ffxiv gil, of thieves applies if the offense meets 16 conditions.

"To cut the hand of a thief, this must be an adult who committed the robbery, knowingly and voluntarily, and has committed more crime over 100 times," he said.

Hamedan prosecutor added that "when the hand is used to commit robberies should be cut."

Biglari also said that, sto credits, the ruling was not enforced in public, "because it would draw the world arrogance to accuse Iran of not respecting human rights."

Since the triumph of the Islamic Revolution and the establishment of the Islamic Republic in Iran in 1979, the judicial laws in this country are based on Sharia (Islamic law).

Although the application of sentences such as stoning or hand cut applied in public in Iran in the early years of the Islamic Revolution, the practice of corporal punishment has virtually disappeared in recent years under pressure from the international community and by the efforts of pro-reformist government in Iran.
