The sangria, which means “bleeding” in Spanish, is a wine punch typically made with red wine, fruit, chopped or sliced (usually oranges, lemons, apples, and peaches), a sweetener such as the honey, sugar or orange juice, spirits such as brandy or triple sec, where we finally add soda and ice. A white wine like sauvignon blanc can also replace the red drink then take the name blanca sangria.
